A well-needed update
Where have I been?
I know it seems as though I have let the weekly project fall off the map. I've more just shifted things to fit a new set of goals. Following the advice, questions, and thought food of some good folks on Reddit, I have decided to shift my focus from weekly games to participating in the One Game A Month jam for the next year.
What does this mean for this project? This profile?
I will be keeping up on my monthly game jam work through devlogs here on Itch, updates on Twitter, and some livestreams that I will be posting links for when they happen. Things will progress as they have been for this first weekly game, just on a slightly larger scale.
What happens at the end of the year?
At the end of this coming 12 month cycle, I will hopefully have 12 completed games to showcase and have the skills to proceed to a larger indie project. I will keep posting my updates here and keep my voice going in the community, I will simply be more experienced and more knowledgeable. So here's to the next 12 months, hoping that they'll bring me plenty of learning and bring you plenty of fun games to play!
Signing off,
Dylan Smith
